“Nothing is more appealing than speaking beautiful, life-giving words. For they release sweetness to our souls and inner healing to our spirits.” Proverbs 16:24 (TPT)
Greetings and welcome! I am Registered Yoga Teacher and an Associate Clinical Social Worker. I received my bachelor's degree in Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles and in 2019, I obtained my Master of Social Work degree from Columbia University in the City of New York. My native language is English, but I also consider myself fluent in “Spanglish”!
Throughout my studies and career, I've primarily served BIPOC communities within the education system. I have extensive experience providing psychoeducation and counseling to children, adolescents and young adults in school and university settings. As a partner of MOCHA Therapy and a multicultural, LGBTQIA+ affirming psychotherapist, I consult with MOCHA Therapy to promote trauma-sensitivity and inclusivity. I can assure you, you are in great hands!
It is my goal to help MOCHA Therapy establish an environment that invites mindfulness and healing to your experience of life. I am pleased that we can work together to end stigma and adopt a new perspective of mental wellness as BIPOC.
